How can you tell if an individual is exhibiting toxic behaviours or is merely having a “bad day?” While researching the range of abuse in organizations, I developed the Crossing the Line model© of personal behaviours in organizations. The Crossing the Line model© represents an analysis of bad behaviours, and labels used for toxic individuals described in scientific papers, self-help, and management books. This seminar discusses the nine zones of behaviours in organizations, 11 markers of increasing intensity of harm, and seven personal boundary designations revealed from this literature, along with the types of harm that signify each zone.
Do you regularly deal with problem employees and behaviours in your organization? This webinar will help you understand if you are dealing with accidental behaviours, incivility, or a real problem. This webinar will introduce the Crossing the Line model© that provides a visual overview and breakdown of the behaviours present in modern organizations. Being prepared to deal with problem employees is the best insurance against violence and litigation in today’s changing environment.
